My mom found more pictures of the devistation that Hurricane Ike caused in Louisiana. These photos are of Cameron Parish, which includes Hackberry, Cameron, and Holly Beach. Please be praying for these folks.
Hackberry, Louisiana is where my Mom used to live. She lost her home during Hurricane Rita two years ago. If she were to have rebuilt her home, she would have lost it during Hurricane Ike. These photos were taken after Hurricane Ike went through. Please be praying for all the victums.
I found out that the pier out at the family bay house is completely under water. Now that is crazy!!! If you look at the image below, you will see that Copano Bay is a couple of Bays inland. The bay house is approximately where the red dot is.
We went to NASA during our vacation a couple of weeks ago. It was really nice. I don’t think the kids got to much out of it, but I thought it was cool. Next time I think Melanie and I will go without the kids so we can play with all the cool things. Here is a photo we got from there.

I am very happy to say that the Apple course that I have been working on the past couple of months has payed off. The first class we had was last week and the instructor said that it was a smooth course, he loved teaching it, and the students enjoyed it. Plus, the pass rates for the students were outstanding. Go APPLE!!! He is now teaching a second class this week!!! Yeah!!!!
I finished reading my Bible today. The whole thing!!!! I have so many mixed emotions about everything that I have read. I feel forgiven, blessed, confused, happy, sad….all these emotions. What I feel the most after reading my Bible is that there is more, a lot more, that I have to do. I don’t feel like I am doing enough. I feel like God want me to do more….I just don’t know what though. There are many lives that need to come to Jesus, and I know I, we, have a huge part in that.
Even though I have finished reading the Bible, now it is time to start studying the Bible. I want to know more. I want to understand everything, or at least try to.

Here is a video we did for church a couple of Sundays ago. Let me tell you, it was extreamly hard sitting there with a straight face. With Cole doing his lines…it was crazy! I think I should win a “straight face” award or something.
