Marine Corps Buddies Reunited

I was in the Marine Corps from 1993 - 1997.  Three years of those four I was stationed on the wonderful island of Okinawa, Japan.  Within the first couple of days of getting on the island is when I met Evan Parker.  Within those three years, Evan became one of the best friends I have ever had.  Evan left the island a few months before I did.  When he left, that was the last time I saw him, until last weekend, so around almost 12 years..  I got to meet his beautiful family and we went to D.C. to check out some of the sites.  I had a blast, even though it was FREEZING cold out side, I had a blast.

This first picture is of Evan and me from either 1996 or 1997.

This second picture is of Evan and me from this past weekend. It was taken at the Vietnam Memorial.

Happy 233rd Birthday Marines!

Happy 233rd Birthday Marines!  Have fun and be safe tonight.

Also, would like to say that if Evan Parker, USMC, is out there, contact me!  It has been a while and would like to catch up.

Marine Corps VMGR-152

I was looking at some old pictures today of when I was in the Marine Corps.  I was in from 1993 - 1997.  I spent three years in Okinawa, Japan with VMGR-152, from 1994 - 1997.  Those were some crazy times.  VMGR-152 (Ichi-Go-Ni) is a KC-130 squadron, home of the Sumo .  I was thinking about all the awesome friends I made and the wonderful times I had.  I got to travel the world and have some great experiences.  I would like to thank our troops, past, present, and future for putting their lives on the line so we can live in a free country.  You guys and gals are AWESOME!  God Bless you all!!!!
